How big is the nook? PDF Print
It's 7.7 inches tall, 4.8 inches wide, .5 inches deep. It was 11.2 ounces. pretty much the size of a small book. It is a little thicker than the Kindle, but has a removable battery and expansion slot which may account for the extra space. Some people like the feel of the nook better, others feel it's too bulky or heavy. Try one at your local B&N if you are unsure.
