If you are new to the nook and not familiar with "More in Store" it's a set of special set of deals you get only when you visit B&N with your nook. Simply go to the "Shop" application on your nook once you've connected to the B&N wi-fi.
I took my wife to the store for coffee and nook reading time yesterday (Yes, we both have a nook and share the B&N account). My wife had some trouble figuring out she had to scroll down to the bottom box before using the d-pad to select the free stuff. She pulled down a few items, and commented - "Seems kinda light". One she was curious about was the "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" entry but neither of our nooks could "buy" it. Each time we tried we'd get a "Can't Connect" error but the other titles worked. Both of us grabbed a couple of short reads on the Oscars.
Some weeks they have better content than others, and we'll keep you up to date when any "Killer" items appear (no, I don't mean murder stories - just good deals).
The B&N website with the latest "More in Store" deals can be found here in case you want to check them all out before you stop in the store.

Now if Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is out I will head back but the link to this weeks deals only mentions an interview and not the book.
Also for those getting the "network unavailable" message. I got that too before they rolled out the updates to my B&N. So hopefully yours will have it soon. I was able to download last week so my store finally got the feature added.
But honestly do not expect to go very often. The free books are definitely geared towards the mass market and my reading choices are out in right field.
Also never seen the free cookie either.
I just checked the "More In Store" deals at the local B&N. The P&P&Z ebook is *not* a freebee offer.
Thanks.
