If you softroot your nook you can. Be Aware this likely (READ DOES) void's your warranty, so if you haven't done it yet, think carefully before you make that descision. However, if you already have a softrooted nook, one way to create "bookshelves" is to create files , titled however you want & sideload them onto your external sd card. pull up trook & there'll be a my books folder, open that & go to the external sdcard link,& there are your bookshelves.
