Creating PDFs 1 Year, 7 Months ago Karma: 1
I have been creating my own PDF files for certain things such as inline fiction and whatnot. I realized today after loading about 200 of my pdfs onto the nook that they had some sort of font issue. It only happened to a few. So, I am wondering if it has something to do with the font that I originally used in the document. Any suggestions of which font I should use when creating my own PDF files?

I've wondered the same... Did you find anything? Changing the font to a nook font in a medium size is my thought. PDF's and nook fonts have bit me more than a few times.

Hey Mark,

I actually played around with fonts a little creating a lorem ipsum type file using multiple fonts. I found that 'Ariel' works best in either 11 or 12 point.

I hope this helps you. I was getting sort of sick of the half cursive/ half time new roman that the Nook was making my self mad PDFS! I think that this is probably my only complaint for the Nook so far! Besides that I love it!

I second the Ariel at 11 or 12 idea; that's what I use when making PDFs.

I've noticed that EPUB files display much more nicely on the Nook than PDF files do. If you have a link to a web page you'd like to load, Instapaper will allow you to quickly take a list of web addresses and turn them into a "book" where each site is a "chapter" in the book.
